Once folders are introduced, could this not be satisfied by simply creating an Archive folder? Or is the idea being proposed here to essentially "leave all notes where they are" (i.e. within whatever folders they're organized in), but with a toggle option in settings to simply show/hide archived items from view? Perhaps there's some nuance here that's over my head, I just personally feel we can probably achieve something close to the desired outcome -- I'm understanding it correctly -- between either the ability to "reverse sort" tags to filter OUT, or using the folders coming soon...?

Unless this is a relatively simple quick-win that'd be particularly meaningful for some people, I feel there are other much higher-impact items more likely to deliver substantial value for users and S2N alike which are currently without alternative 'workaround' type alternatives.

P.S. Can't wait for the next update!! That sidebar expanded view looks awesome and is something I've been looking forward to for a while... I have a feeling I'm about to become much better acquainted with some of those formats that've at times been accidentally overlooked/underused purely owing to "out of sight, out of mind"... a problem for a guy like me with the attention span of a goldfish. 😅 🐟
